Spiritual evolution is a universal law

by CR (102)

The fundamental principle of life in the universe is spiritual evolution. In it lies the basis of understanding everything that goes on inside and outside the the reach of human perception.

There is no logical or rational explanation for existence when evolution is not properly considered.

Let some deny evolution out of ignorance, others out of scepticism, or sectarian interests, let them employ, to reinforce this denial, all the sophistry, all the embellishments, all the language devices of which they are capable, and it will always be present, always alive, always active in all manifestations of life, since it came into existence.

Why are certain religious beliefs so interested in denying spiritual evolution? Why are they so intransigently opposed to it? Why don't they surrender and accept it? The reason is not difficult to determine if we consider that the recognition of evolution reduces the mystique of salvation to shreds.

Accepting such a truth would therefore mean the destruction of a system in which millions of individuals directly or indirectly participate, whose personal interests is placed above the highest interests of humanity.

Not all opponents of spiritual evolution are convinced of its nonexistence. It is by no means small the number of those who deny it but at heart admit it. Some deny it because truth would not be convenient to them professionally. Others deny out of subordination to dogmas that made them fanatical and obscurantists.

By hammering the idea of salvation into a child's mind, this fantasy is gradually permeated in the child's perispirit (animistic body) until it takes deep root. Later, as an adult, the individual mechanically repeats what he has become used to hearing, unwilling to subject the matter to reasoning, for he feels an unpleasant clash between the false, so long stored in the subconscious, and truth, which is alive in his consciousness.
