Obsession is one of the evils from which humanity suffers the most
Its greatest danger lies precisely in the fact that it is not perceived in its less shocking aspects by those who are unaware of the spiritualist truths that Christian Rationalism disseminates, especially the part about life outside matter, also known as incorporeal life.
Obsession can present itself in a subtle, periodic, permanent, mild or violent manner.
In its subtle and mild forms, it appears as manias, fears, oddities, phobias, twitches, eccentricities,
exoticism, exaggerations, passions, fanaticism, cowardice, indolence and by all excesses, such as sexual, eating, laughing or crying, and many others.
In previous texts, dealing with mediumship, we saw how obsessive spirits act on individuals who attract them with affinitive thoughts.
In spite of all the deleterious action that the forces of the inferior astral exert on humanity, it is necessary to recognize that, to a great extent, the victims themselves are to blame, for having, when healthy, fed the thoughts with which they formed the currents of attraction on which the obsessors relied.
In short, people who are victims of obsession, often harboured thoughts that facilitated the formation of currents for obsessor spirits, which then moved to intensify those thoughs and desires.
