The power of thought can defy gravity

by CR (136)

Depending on its state of development, the spirit can count with sufficient strength to use the power of thought in order to modify or alter certain physical conditions. It should be emphasised that psychic phenomena take place through the action of the thoughts of incarnated or disincarnated spirits, acting alone or together.

In this case is levitation, only possible when the force of thought is sufficiently intensified to cancel the force of gravity that acts on the atoms of a body.

When this happens, the body, thus levitated, starts to hover at any point in space, in obedience to the force that maintains it.

A second force, also derived from the power of thought, can be applied to give directional movement to the body.

Materializations are similarly performed. To accomplish a materialization, it is necessary to simultaneously perform a dematerialization, in which case there is a removal of atoms in fluidic or animistic form, steered even through almost all relatively porous obstacles, such as walls, floors and ceilings.

In levitation and transport, it is not just the force that opposes gravity that is active, but also the force that imparts movement. In materializations, in addition to the forces that cancel gravity and gives movement, there is the force that interferes with cohesion. This force temporarily offsets the force of cohesion in the act of de-materialisation, and then uses it in materialisation.

It is obvious that in such phenomena, there is nothing supernatural. They simply escape those who still don't understand the true power of thought. Therefore what happens, in fact, are simple manifestations of Force, in its many facets.

It should be emphasised that everything mentioned here, in relation to spiritual powers, represents nothing more than a tiny portion of those powers that the spirit will have when it reaches a high degree of evolution in the spiritual planes of the Superior Astral.

Given that the spirit is Force and Power, its potential grows as it evolves, and in proportion to that evolution. Its thoughts translate into higher ideals, and the higher the concentration of these powers, the higher these ideals will be.
