Manifestations of psychic phenomena vary according to the degree of evolution and the peculiarities of each spirit. Mediumship, which is expressed in various ways, adds unequivocal demonstrations of these phenomena to human knowledge. This is because mediums have a more developed sensibility than other people, which enables them to establish contact with the vibrations of the psychic planes.
The medium is a linking element between the physical and the psychic planes. This is why psychic phenomena are always revealed through mediums.
The more sensitive the individual, the greater the chance of picking up vibrations. Space is filled with such vibrations which are different from each other, and each captured vibration can produce a corresponding revelation or phenomenon.
The retinas of human eyes can capture the vibrations of sunlight, but not those of astral light, except when the medium intervenes with the help of his sensitivity, through the well-known phenomenon of clairvoyance.
The incorporation medium can, under certain psychic conditions, unfold, which in some circles is also known as astral projection, astral travel, out-of-body experience (OBE) or disembodiment. This phenomenon is very useful provided its practice follows some disciplinary rules.
Unfolding mediumship is understood as the momentary withdrawal of the spirit and its astral body from the medium's physical body, while retaining their connection by means of animistic cords.
