No one can be exempt from the obligation to work and view work as a way for true satisfaction in life. The entire Universe is a permanent work shop, in which everyone needs to be active and diligent workers.
Those who do not do so are placed in a lower spiritual level in life. They live marginal lives, as marginal are the spirits of the Inferior Astral with which they associate due to the law of attraction.
Sexual excesses are the germs of obsessive materialism, based on lust and other vices. Subjugated to this situation, the human being gives free rein to his lower instincts, offering free shelter to the compatible spirits of the Inferior Astral, which contribute to his obsession.
All everyday acts need to be performed with good judgement and honesty. Our social organization follows a pattern whose main features define the positions that human beings must adopt in the course of human interactions, without losing sight of both self-respect and respect for others.
To achieve this goal, human beings need to have control over their attitudes, control over themselves, with good reasoning in action. The lack of control over behaviour and words, in addition to causing offence and often regret, gives rise to lasting resentments and brings on hostility and animosity.
