Just as the violin and the bow are two different bodies that unite to produce sublime musical sounds in the hands of an artist, so two human beings joined in marriage, though endowed with different qualities and attributions, have a duty to help each other, under the harmonious vibrations of mutual understanding and agreement.
Men and women should never be concerned about the value of their contributions as these are often measured by different standards. Liquids are measured per unit volume, while textile fabrics for sale are measured by linear units. Therefore there is no need for constant camparisons between men and women.
Consequently, it is difficult to establish a fair comparison between male and female production because the attributions of women and men, although of equal value, can't always be reversed. Even though roles nowadays can be more pliable, trying to reverse certain roles, can contravene the natural laws of the Universe and cause a corresponding imbalance.
It is well known among spiritualists that the spirit or soul has no gender. The spirit in its essence it's neither female nor male. Therefore it is the spirit itself that decides what sex it will adopt when it reincarnates. And when it does, the reincarnated spirit usually shows, soon after, its female or male tendencies.
In conclusion, even thought their attributions in life may differ in many ways, their share of work is of equal value. Hence the reason both men and women equally play a very important role in the family unit.
