Family is the foundation of stable societies

by CR (120)

Family is the basis, the foundation, the support of all stable societies.

When family excels in the cultivation of the superior qualities of the spirit, without being contaminated by the virus of corruption, it plays a very relevant role in the improvement of the community.

Just as the force of cohesion holds the cells of the bodies together in the environment they live, families also need this force of cohesion, to interconnect with each other as cells of the whole, and to compose a homogeneous society, progressive and peaceful, inclined to the development of the most significant virtues.

This force of cohesion derives from an affinity in hight sentiments and good will, from noble aspirations, from solidarity in the improvement of society, from the communion of the efforts employed for the benefit of all.

The greater the number of these family foundations to develop this force of cohesion, the higher will be the integrity, morality and honesty levels in the environment.

The behaviour of a community, which reflects the condition of the majority of its members, represents the average level of improvement of a people, revealing their productive and creative capacity, both materially and spiritually.

Under these conditions, family formation grows in importance as a major social intitution. We are not talking about in the union of human beings in the disunity of spirits, but the true spiritual and physical connection of spouses in regard to the responsibilities at home and the perpetuation of the species.
