The duty to form a family

by CR (121)

Those who marry must understand the duties and rights of each spouse, who are not, as a rule, equal but complementary.

It is in the association of interests aimed at the same end, intelligently felt and pursued with dedication, that the spiritual connection between wife and husband is formed. Physical attraction which can be so degrading to humanity when perverted, should come second.

When the spirit reincarnates, it brings with it, among other commitments, the duty to form a family, to honour and dignify it at all costs.

Therefore, those who, either by action or omission, contribute to the ruin of the home and the collapse of the family, commit a serious spiritual offense.

Communities, from which nations are made of, will be great and respected as long as the foundations of their moral structure, represented by the spiritual links that bind families together, are strong enough to repel the evil currents of corruption, rampant sensualism, self-worship and immorality.

The family is the nucleus in which the virtues of affection, tolerance, loyalty, self-denial, renunciation, faithfulness, sacrifice, respect and communion of feelings must be exercised.

As a corollary, the home is a school of spiritual improvement and a field of psychic development.

Since mistakes are easy to make and difficult to repair, in order to avoid them, the permanent vigilance of the human being over himself is necessary.
