The lamentable ignorance of an obsessor spirit living in the inferior astral, made it a prisoner of the Earth's atmospheric environment, driven by the blindness of false beliefs, persuaded that nothing else exists for those who disincarnated, beyond the illusory environment in which the spirit began to live.
Thus an obsessor spirit seeks to develop any activity in this environment, by starting to transmit intuitions to its ex-relatives, friends and acquaintances, on the assumption that it is doing a good deed or because it feels pleasure in that activity.
These intuitions, if well received, act as an incentive to other intuitions, thus establishing close interaction between the disincarnated spirits of the inferior astral and the incarnated spirits (people). When this happens, the path to obsession is open.
Whenever there is deep affinity, obsessors do not part with their victims, because they enjoy staying where they feel good. When the obsession is caused by spirits that were enemies of the obsessed on Earth, then their disturbing action takes a more violent form and furious crisis may even become frequent.
In time, spirits of the inferior astral, under certain spiritual conditions, will be driven away from Earth atmosphere by the Spirits of the Superior Astral, in direction to their own spiritual worlds. This will enable them to prepare new reincarnations.
