Different forms of mediumship

by CR (139)

Although the intuitive category is the most common form of mediumship, it is by no means the only one. There are others, including incorporation mediumship which is peculiar only to certain individuals.

Incorporation mediumship is one in which the action of the acting spirit is easily noticed on the medium's physical body. If many of the mediumistic faculties can go unnoticed, the same is not true with incorporation mediumship, which no one can fail to notice in the moment of actuation.

They may give it other names, assign it other causes to justify their ignorance, but the truth is only one. Sooner or later, the recognition of the mediumship of incorporation, as a spiritual faculty, will have to be acknowledged as an obvious reality, due to its evidence, like all the tangible things on the Planet.

The most common forms of mediumship on Earth are the following:

Intuitive mediumship  (We can all receive thoughts or intuitions from spirits still incarnated or not. We are all intuitive mediums.)

Auditory mediumship (Mediums who can hear voices and sounds, usually from spirits of the inferior astral.)

Olfactory mediumship (Mediums who can smell things that nobody can.)

Psycographic mediumship (Mediums who write down messages from spirits, usually from the inferior astral.)

Incorporation mediumship (The medium can momentary withdrawal his/her spirit and the astral body from the physical body. The medium can also be actuated by spirits.)

Visual mediumship (The medium can see spirits, which most people cannot.)

There are also other corresponding phenomena that some mediums can do, like:

Materialization (To achieve materialisation, it is necessary to perform a simultaneous de-materialisation.)

Unfolding (Also known as disembodiment, astral projection, astral travel or out-of-body experience.)
Levitation (Some mediums can levitate by cancelling the force or gravity. They can also float objects, sometimes with the help of the inferior astral.)

Transport (Some mediums can move objects from one place to another, sometimes working together with the inferior astral.)
