One of the faculties of the spirit that most demand a thoughtful and a lengthy period of study is mediumship, of which, unfortunately, scientific organizations have had very little concern. This is, without a doubt, a gap that will have to be filled with the progressive spiritual development of humanity.
Mediumship reveals itself in many ways, depending on the degree of developemnt of one or more of its variations. It is an natural faculty of all incarnated spirits, who have at least intuitive mediumship, which also varies from one individual to another depending on the degree of evolution reached in each incarnation.
Mediumship is always useful when put to good use, but highly harmful when used for evil purposes. Good or evil thoughts are attracted in direct proportion to their affinity, and their instrument of capture is the mediumistic faculty.
The space occupied by the Earth's atmosphere is full of not only spirits but also thoughts, resulting in the vibrations of two distinct currents, classified as good and evil.
Every individual with good character who keeps his mind focused on useful achievements and harbours a sincere desire to grow spiritually, striving to reach this high objective, will be enveloped by the currents of good, strengthened by the irradiations of the Superior Forces. With this beneficial assistance, success is easier.
Likewise, when the individual is inclined to do evil, his spiritual vibrations establish magnetic poles of attraction of affinitive currents of the Inferior Astral, and then the obsessor spirits, using the intuitive mediumship of the person, to mentally influence him, eventually lead him to certain transgressions.
There is nothing extraordinary about this. The ill intentions, reflected in the thoughts, find, in the inferior space, located in the atmosphere that surrounds the Planet, organized currents that are juxtaposed to these intentions, because vibrations of the same nature always find some form of identity.
