Humanity have always asked questions like these: "Where did we come from? What are we doing here on earth? Where will we go after the end of our earthly life?
Even though many keep saying that nobody knows the truth about our existence and the meaning of life, great people of the past and present, some of them commanding great prestige due to their extraordinary intelligence and wisdom have taught us a great deal about what we are and why we exist.
Ever since the most remote ages, highly evolved spiritual concepts never lacked the support of great men who were seriously concerned about the overall slow development of humanity. Some of those great men have told us, maybe even proven that we as human beings are spirits in evolution.
Some of these men, of great evolution, reincarnated on Earth to sow the seeds similar to the teachings of Christian Rationalism, aiming at the enlightenment and consequent spiritualization of the inhabitants of this planet.
Unfortunately, much ignorance still prevails everywhere regarding spiritual matters and there is no doubt that, consciously or unconsciously, humanity has been the victim of such ignorance.
Many crooks have at all times taken advantage of this ignorance. Therefore man needs to be awakened to see the light, to know himself, to grasp a rational understanding of life, so that he will carry out his earthly duties more effectively and learn that we are spirits incarnated in this physical world going through the process of spiritual evolution.
For a long time, well-known spiritualists have been complaining against the age-old mistake of concealing Truth from humanity and keeping man in complete ignorance of the principles which explain his own existence.
"Ignorance of Truth is one of the greatest evils which afflict the world," asserted Plato.
Jesus backed him up when he said: "Only Truth can free humanity from the claws of ignorance and prepare it for the fulfilment of duty."
Later Descartes taught humanity an excellent lesson about Truth:
"To distinguish truth from falsity is the only way to clearly see one's acts and to move safely through life. A perfect knowledge of everything man may have is just as essential to regulate our habits as the use of our eyes is essential to guide our footsteps. Let us strive to think well: this is the principle of ethics."
In short, there is still a long way for the entire humanity find the truth about what are we doing in this world, what is the point of life, but we are getting there.
