We have stated before that Force evolves through the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms until it reaches the hominal kingdom and becomes a spirit. Once Force reaches this stage of advancement and turns into a soul (spirit) animating a human body, a new phase of evolution begins. This is now a new period of development known as Spiritual Evolution.
The spirit makes its way through this planet under suitable conditions for its stage of advancement. In each successive reincarnation it progresses to an environment which is appropriate to the stage already reached, until it completes the part of evolution which corresponds to his present life on Earth.
Endowed with Free Will, the responsibilities and duties of a spirit incarnated on this physical world are numerous, in order to process his spiritual evolution. The spirit now in human form needs to respect the Universal Laws and understand that everytime he breaks a natural law he inescapably slows the course of his evolution.
It is through Free Will that spiritual evolution proceeds. Free Will is conscious choice, enlightened by reasoning in the presence of conscience. Denying free will, also denies moral responsibility, reduces human beings to the condition of irrational beings and as a result rejects Spiritual Evolution
Fortunately Free Will is a fact and part of the Natural Laws of the Universe. Free will is the origin of merit and therefore the basis of morality.
Therefore, man cannot act and profit from his efforts without knowing the due process of his spiritual development, or his astral and physical composition. As a result, and in compliance with those laws, he has to undergo a multiplicity of reincarnations although of his own will and through hard experiences.
The manner a spirit uses his Free Will, either for good or evil, will determine the number of these reincarnations. His wrongdoings will revert against him; his good actions to his benefit, which means that the good use of Free will, may greatly reduce the number of his reincarnations.
